Hello.
Here are a few things you might want to know:
I grew up in North London, moved to Paris when I was nine with my French mother. It was here that I first started snapping with a minolta X700 which was permanently around my neck.
I moved back to the UK to study philosophy and politics at Edinburgh University.
There I “fell in” with the artistic crowd and together we all left Uni to become actors, writers, choreographers and in my case a photographer.
I left Edinburgh to go to London College of Printing in 1998 for a year on the PPP course (Professional Photographic Practice don’t you know) and then started freelancing in editorial as a portrait photographer.
Recently I have also been doing more lifestyle work which, to my great surprise, I enjoy just as much as portraiture.
My clients so far include:
Vogue, Vanity Fair, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Harpers & Queen, Rolling Stone Magazine, Evening Standard Magazine, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Telegraph on Saturday Magazine, You Magazine, Observer Life, The Face, W Magazine, Surface, Le Monde & Glyndebourne Opera House.
I am based in Lewes, near Brighton where I live with my husband and two sons.
Alongside editorial work I am very happy to undertake portraits for PR, actors headshots and private commissions.
Please get in touch to discuss any projects or photography commissions you think I might be right for.
