Hello.

Here are a few things you might want to know:

I grew up in North London, moved to Paris when I was nine with my French mother. It was here that I first started taking pictures with a minolta X700.

I moved back to the UK to study philosophy and politics at Edinburgh University. Incredibly useful given that I pretty much knew all along that I wanted to be a photographer. Luckily I met lots of lovely people to practice portraiture on, including my Philosophy Professors. Some say that pandering to their egos by asking them to sit for a portrait and then giving them a 10x8 print may have aided my getting a 2.1 but I say this is nonsense and slander...

I went on to London College of Printing in 1998 for a year on the PPP course (Professional Photographic Practice don’t you know) and then started freelancing in editorial as a portrait photographer.

Recently I have also been commissioned more lifestyle work which, to my great surprise, I enjoy just as much as portraiture.

My clients so far include:

Vogue, Vanity Fair, Easy Living, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Harpers & Queen, Rolling Stone Magazine, Evening Standard Magazine, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Telegraph on Saturday Magazine, You Magazine, Observer Life, The Face, W Magazine, Surface, Le Monde.

I am based in Lewes, near Brighton where I live with my husband and two sons.

Alongside editorial work I am very happy to undertake portraits for PR, actors headshots and private commissions.

Please get in touch to discuss any projects or photography commissions you think I might be right for.
